About Me
Vibrant, colorful poetry for the eyes might best describe the work of Charlene Audrey. With a skillful artistic flair, Charlene’s enthusiasm for her art comes to life in her paintings.
Greatly inspired by modern and vintage motifs, decorative art, and her love of life and nature, Charlene composes her work through the skillful use of the graceful transparency of watercolors and the utilization of the energy of acrylics. She flirts with new techniques and embraces traditional ones.
Born in Syracuse, N.Y., and raised in the beautiful Eastern Township of Québec, Charlene began her artistic journey at a young age. Sparked by the remarkable countryside that surrounded her, Charlene’s passion for art grew.
This passion led Charlene to a brilliant creative career. She first worked as a designer for the wallpaper company, Imperial Home Décor Group, and then expanded her horizons as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. After teaming up with the creative and licensing studio, PELA Concept in 2003, she began making a name for herself in the licensing world. With 15 years of creative experience, Charlene exhibits her talents in various fields. Driven by a great passion for art, the environment and now though scuba diving, Charlene founded the first underwater art gallery in Canada – Aquart. Through this fabulous project, she began painting underwater!
On a personal note, Charlene lives and works from her countryside home. When she lays down her paints and brushes, she has the great pleasure of taking care of her beautiful daughter, Danaele and her long-time companion, Luka.
